GrapheneOS supported devices — the Pixel list, with support dates.
GrapheneOS officially supports only Google Pixel phones (including the Pixel Tablet). The current models are the Pixel 8 through Pixel 10 families. Here is a buyer's summary, the minimum OEM support date for each, and which ones we prepare and ship worldwide.
If you want the most years of updates, buy the newest Pixel you can afford: a Pixel 10a has minimum OEM support through March 2033 and the Pixel 10 family through 2032. Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Motorola and iPhone are not supported, and there is no safe unofficial build for them.

Before you buy: check the bootloader. Supported does not mean every unit can be installed. Some carrier-locked or carrier-variant Pixels do not allow OEM unlocking, and unlocking the SIM is not the same thing. Confirm the exact unit allows "OEM unlocking" in developer settings before paying (see the installer guide). Every phone we sell is checked for this before dispatch.
This is a buyer's summary, not the complete list: Pixels older than those above may also be supported with shorter or ended windows. The GrapheneOS FAQ is the live source of truth, and we revise this page when the project or Google changes a date.
Why only Pixel?
GrapheneOS needs four things from the hardware, and Pixels are the phones that offer them together:
- An unlockable bootloader that can be locked again. You install the new OS, then relock so verified boot checks it against the GrapheneOS signing key.
- Support for custom verified-boot keys. Without it, a relocked phone cannot trust anything but the manufacturer's own software.
- A dedicated secure element. Pixels carry Google's Titan M-series chip for key storage and attempt limiting.
- Prompt, complete firmware and driver updates for years, so the project can keep patching the device.
Most other phones fail at least one of these. That is why a Samsung Galaxy cannot run GrapheneOS and why we do not sell or flash unofficial ports.
How to read "minimum OEM support through"
The date is the minimum period Google commits to supply firmware and security patches for that model. It is not a GrapheneOS-set cutoff: full security support depends on the manufacturer continuing to provide updates, and GrapheneOS can drop a device early or keep it going differently if that changes. Within that window, a supported Pixel gets regular security fixes and new builds. Past it, the phone is no longer a good primary device for sensitive use. If you plan to keep a phone for five years or more, the date matters more than the screen size.
A new and a used example of the same model, bought today, have the same remaining support. What differs between models is the window: an older model has fewer years left than a newer one. A used phone also means you inherit an unknown history, which you should verify. We prepare new hardware, see prepared vs DIY flashing for the trade-offs.

What devices does GrapheneOS support?
Only Google Pixel phones, including the Pixel Tablet. The current models, with minimum OEM support dates, are the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro (through Oct 2030), Pixel 8a (May 2031), the Pixel 9 family (Aug 2031), Pixel 9a (Apr 2032), Pixel 10, 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL (Aug 2032), Pixel 10 Pro Fold (Oct 2032) and Pixel 10a (Mar 2033). Older Pixels with shorter or ended windows are also on the official list.
Can GrapheneOS be installed on Samsung, OnePlus, Xiaomi or other Android phones?
No. GrapheneOS does not support them. Unofficial ports can exist, but they cannot relock verified boot against the GrapheneOS key and receive no official updates, so we do not consider them a safe way to get GrapheneOS.
Does GrapheneOS work on the Pixel Fold models?
Yes. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold and Pixel 10 Pro Fold are supported, with minimum OEM support through Aug 2031 and Oct 2032 respectively.
What does "minimum OEM support through" mean for a Pixel I already own?
It is the minimum period the manufacturer commits to provide firmware and security updates. Full security support depends on those updates continuing. Check your exact model on the GrapheneOS FAQ before relying on a date, because the project is the authority on its own support.
Do you ship supported Pixels outside Australia?
Yes. We ship worldwide by tracked and insured international express, except to places where Australian sanctions prevent export. Rates and the full list are on the shipping policy page.
