Refund Policy

Privacy Devices is committed to customer satisfaction. This policy outlines your rights and our procedures for returns, exchanges, and refunds.

1. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all devices from the date of delivery. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for a full refund of the device price, subject to the conditions below.

2. Conditions for Return

  • The device must be returned within 14 days of delivery
  • The device must be in its original condition, free from physical damage, scratches, or water damage
  • All included accessories (cable, charger, SIM tool, case, packaging) must be returned
  • The device must be factory reset before return (we can guide you through this)

3. Non-Refundable Items

  • Software licences that have been activated (e.g., Threema, VPN subscriptions)
  • Devices with physical damage not covered by warranty
  • Return shipping costs (unless the product is faulty or incorrect)

4. Faulty or Incorrect Products

If you receive a faulty or incorrect product:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery
  • We will arrange a return at our cost
  • You will receive a full refund or replacement, at your choice
  • This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

5. How to Request a Return

  • Email us at info@privacydevices.net or message us on WhatsApp
  • Include your order number and reason for return
  • We will provide a return shipping address and instructions

6. Refund Processing

  • Refunds are processed within 5 business days of receiving the returned item
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method (Stripe / bank transfer)
  • You will receive email confirmation when your refund has been processed
  • Please allow 3–5 additional business days for the refund to appear in your account

7. Exchanges

If you would like to exchange your device for a different model, contact us to arrange the exchange. Price differences will be charged or refunded accordingly.

8. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product has a major fault, you are entitled to a refund or replacement regardless of this policy. For minor faults, we will repair the product within a reasonable time.
