Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our devices, Phantom Protocol, and how we work.

What is GrapheneOS?

GrapheneOS is an open-source, privacy-and-security-focused mobile operating system for Google Pixel devices. It removes all Google tracking infrastructure, adds hardened memory allocation, verified boot, and gives you granular control over every app permission.

It currently has over 300,000 active users including journalists, legal professionals, security researchers, and privacy-conscious individuals worldwide. All of our devices ship with the latest stable GrapheneOS build.

Will banking apps and everyday apps still work?

Yes. GrapheneOS includes a sandboxed Google Play Services environment that allows apps like CommBank, ANZ, Westpac, NAB, Uber, Google Maps, and MyGov to function normally — while keeping them strictly isolated from your personal data and each other.

The sandbox approach means the apps work but cannot access your real device identifier, location when not in use, or other personal data they would normally harvest. We verify app compatibility for all major Australian banking and government apps before shipping.

What is Phantom Protocol™?

Phantom Protocol is our exclusive in-house developed emergency data protection system. Every device we build includes it configured and ready. Features include:

Remote erase — Securely erase all data remotely.
Emergency PIN — Enter a secondary PIN that triggers protective lockdown while appearing to unlock normally.
Decoy profiles — Present a convincing secondary user profile with minimal data.
Hardware sensor toggles — Hardware-level control of camera, mic, Bluetooth, and GPS.
Auto-reboot timer — Device reboots automatically if unused for a set period, requiring full authentication.
Rapid lockdown mode — One gesture locks everything down.

All features are completely legal in Australia and internationally.

Do you accept cryptocurrency?

Yes. We accept Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Monero (XMR), and USDT via BitPay or direct wallet transfer. Monero provides the highest level of payment anonymity.

You can also pay with Visa, Mastercard, or Amex via Stripe. All payment options are available at checkout.

Is a de-Googled phone legal in Australia?

Completely legal. These are standard Google Pixel devices running open-source software. You own the hardware and have the right to install whatever operating system you choose. There is no modification of baseband firmware or any illegal activity involved.

Privacy is a fundamental right under Australian law. Using software that protects your personal data is encouraged, not prohibited.

Can I migrate from iPhone?

Absolutely. Our team personally guides every customer through the migration process: contacts, photos, notes, two-factor authentication apps, iMessage deregistration, and app equivalents for whatever you used on iPhone.

Most clients are comfortable and fully operational within a week. We stay available for questions as long as needed after setup — there is no support cutoff.

Do you offer enterprise or bulk orders?

Yes. We configure teams of 5 to 500 devices with consistent, policy-defined security settings. Enterprise orders include:

• Standardised build across all devices
• Secure onboarding documentation
• Ongoing support contracts with SLA options
• Dedicated account management
• Compliance documentation for audits

Contact us via WhatsApp or email to discuss your team's requirements.

How long does it take and where do you ship?

Build time: 1–2 business days for configuration and testing.

Australian shipping: Express Post — typically 1–3 business days Australia-wide. Same-day dispatch for orders placed before 2pm AEST.

International: Available to 170+ countries via tracked international courier. Typical delivery 5–12 business days depending on destination. Discreet packaging available on request.

What if I'm not satisfied?

We offer a 100% money-back satisfaction guarantee. If you're not happy with your device for any reason, contact us within 14 days of receipt for a full refund. The device must be returned in original condition.

In 450+ devices built, we have never had a refund request from someone who gave the device a genuine try. We're confident in what we build.

What data do you collect when I order?

Only what's required to fulfil your order: name, shipping address, email, and payment details (processed securely via Stripe — we never store card numbers). Order data is retained for standard accounting compliance periods and not shared with third parties.

If you pay with Monero and request to collect in-person or via a PO box, you can order with minimal personal information. Contact us to discuss.
